NLX Logistics is a UK freight forwarding company arranging sea, air and road transport for importers, exporters, traders and private individuals. We book container space and vehicle decks out of Felixstowe, Southampton, London Gateway, Tilbury, Liverpool, Immingham, Teesport, Grangemouth, Sheerness and Bristol, and air cargo out of Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, East Midlands, Manchester and Birmingham. Whatever leaves the United Kingdom, we can move it, and we tell you what it will cost before you commit to anything.

The company exists because freight forwarding has a reputation problem, and the reputation is largely deserved. Too many quotations arrive as a single number covering the sea freight alone, with destination charges, terminal handling, documentation fees and customs costs appearing as surprises weeks later. Too many shipments are handed between departments until nobody can say where the cargo actually is. We built NLX the other way round: full landed costs disclosed in writing, and one named specialist who owns your shipment from enquiry to delivery.

Our three core products are container shipping, vehicle shipping and air freight. Container shipping covers 20ft, 40ft and high-cube full loads, LCL groupage priced per cubic metre, mixed loads combining vehicles with household or commercial goods, and out-of-gauge cargo on flat racks and open tops. Vehicle shipping covers roll-on roll-off sailings for cars, 4x4s, vans, motorhomes, trucks, trailers, plant and agricultural machinery, plus enclosed container shipping for classics and prestige vehicles. Air freight covers consolidated, direct and next-flight-out services for general cargo, perishables, pharmaceuticals, dangerous goods and unaccompanied baggage.

Around those products sit the services that make them work: UK import and export customs clearance filed in house on HMRC's Customs Declaration Service, all-risks marine cargo insurance on declared value, UK and European road haulage, warehousing and consolidation, project cargo management and export documentation including certificates of origin, preference documents and ATA Carnets.

Every service page on this website carries a guide price box, and every guide price box carries the same line: these are indicative rates, contact us for precise rates. That is deliberate. Freight is a market, and anyone promising a fixed tariff for every lane and season is either guessing or hiding something. What we can do is tell you honestly what a shipment of your type usually costs, so you know whether the project is viable before you spend an afternoon gathering measurements.

When you do send the details, the written quotation that follows is complete. It shows the freight, the UK charges, the documentation, the customs entry and the destination charges we can foresee, and it names the ones that are set locally and cannot be fixed in advance. If we get something wrong, we say so.
