This Cookies Policy explains how NLX Logistics Ltd uses cookies and similar technologies on this website. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more generally. Our quotation forms can be long, especially for vehicle, container and air freight enquiries with dimensions and weights, and cookies allow the form to remember what you have typed if you move between pages. Our rate finder and schedule finder remember the country or region you selected so that the page opens where you left it.

5.Preference cookies

Preference cookies remember choices you make to give you a more convenient experience, such as the destination country selected in the rate finder, the region chosen in the shipping schedule finder, or the service tab last used in the homepage quotation panel. They do not track you across other websites. We use them only if you allow them.

6.Analytics cookies

Analytics data is not used to identify you personally. Where the analytics provider offers IP anonymisation, we enable it, and we do not combine analytics data with the information you submit through quotation forms.

Some pages may include content from other providers, such as maps showing UK port locations, embedded videos explaining how RoRo loading works, or links to carrier tracking pages. The rate finder and shipping schedule finder use preference cookies, if you allow them, to remember the country or region you last selected. Article and guide pages use analytics cookies, if you allow them, to count how many people read each article and how far they scroll, which helps us decide which topics to cover next.

The homepage quotation panel, which offers separate tabs for car, sea and air freight, may remember the tab you last used so that the right form opens on your next visit. None of these cookies contain the details you type into a form; form contents are sent securely to our systems only when you submit them.

17.How long cookies last

Session cookies last only while your browser is open and are deleted when you close it. Persistent cookies have an expiry date set when they are created, which on this website ranges from twenty-four hours for form-state cookies to twelve months for the record of your cookie choices. Analytics cookies, where used, typically last up to thirteen months, after which you will be asked for consent again. You can delete any cookie before it expires through your browser settings.

18.What happens if you refuse cookies

If you refuse optional cookies, the website will still work, and you can still read every page, use the rate and schedule finders and request quotations. The only differences are that the site will not remember your selections between visits, and we will not include your visit in our analytics. Will clearing cookies delete my quotation request? No. Once you have submitted a request, it is held in our systems, not in your browser. 25.Why a freight forwarder needs any cookies at all

It is reasonable to ask why a logistics company's website needs cookies. The answer lies in how visitors use it. People planning an international shipment rarely request a quotation on their first visit; they compare methods, read country pages, check indicative rates and look at shipping schedules over several visits, often from different devices. Without cookies, every visit would start from nothing: the rate finder would reset to its default country, a half-completed vehicle quotation would be lost when a page was refreshed, and the site could not protect its forms against automated spam.

We have designed the site so that it works fully without optional cookies, and uses them only to make it more convenient for people who choose to allow them. We would rather collect a little less information and keep your trust than collect everything we could.

26.Server logs

Separately from cookies, our hosting infrastructure records server logs of requests made to the website, including the IP address, the page requested, the time, the browser type and the response. These logs are necessary to deliver the website, to diagnose errors and to detect and block attacks. We do not combine analytics data with the details you submit in quotation forms, and we do not use it to decide what price to quote you. Prices are based on the shipment, not on your browsing.
